Who represents me?
Independence and Clarkston are represented in the Senate by Senate Majority Leader Mike Bishop, R - Rochester Hills.

School Funding Estimates

Michigan holds two revenue estimating conferences each year, in January and May, to determine how much money the state has to budget. Schools are funded through the General Fund and the School Aid Fund. The first conference was yesterday. For complete information on the conference click here.
